I saw your "Sunbonnet Sue Does Hollywood" quilt somewhere on the internet. About two years ago I did a "Sunbonnet Sue Goes to the Museum" in which I recreated famous pieces of art that had hats added to the people. I found a review of your presentation for a quilt guild in which I saw a couple of photos of your Quilt Show quilt and your Cemetery quilt. I wish I could have seen them in person to see the subtle bits of humor you have added. I love to make quilts that require the viewer to investigate what's going on. For the middle third of my life I was an Art Teacher. After 32 years I retired and started quilting. I have been very successful. Sunbonnet Sue will be going to Nashville in July. This will be her third show. I am following your blog so that I can possibly meet you and see your quilts in person. Maybe I can persuade my guild to invite you to do a program for us.
